COURSE CURRICULUM

The BSc Quantitative Finance program is structured over four years to provide a balanced and progressive combination of finance, mathematics, computer science, and economics. In first year, students study core subjects including Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics and Statistics, and Economics, each contributing equally to build a strong foundational understanding. In second year, the program becomes more focused, with compulsory modules in Finance and Economics, Computer Studies, and Mathematics and Statistics, along with an additional 10 optional credits chosen from Finance, Economics, or Mathematics to allow some flexibility. In third year, students continue studying Finance and Economics, Computer Studies, and Mathematics at a more advanced level. A major component of this year is a 30 credit option, where students can choose between work placement, study abroad, or a research project, providing valuable practical or academic experience. In the final year, students take higher-level compulsory modules in Finance and Economics, Computer Science, and Mathematics and Statistics, along with 20 optional credits from areas such as Finance, Economics, Computer Studies, Mathematics, or Statistics. Overall, the program gradually builds expertise while offering flexibility, preparing students for careers that require strong analytical and technical skills.
