COURSE CURRICULUM

The BSc Product Design and Innovation program is structured over four years as a single major in Product Design, allowing students to develop focused expertise in the field. In first year, students are introduced to the fundamentals of product design, including basic design principles, creative thinking, and essential practical skills such as sketching, modelling, and understanding materials. This stage builds a strong foundation for further study. In second year, students continue with Product Design at a more advanced level, developing their skills in areas such as computer-aided design, prototyping, and user-centred design. They also begin working on more complex projects that require both creativity and technical understanding. In third year, the program further strengthens students’ abilities through more challenging design projects, often involving real-world applications and collaboration, helping them apply their knowledge in practical contexts. By fourth year, students reach an advanced level of study, focusing on independent and in-depth design work that demonstrates their ability to solve complex problems and create innovative products. Throughout all four years, the single major structure ensures continuous development of design, technical, and problem-solving skills, preparing students for careers in product design and related industries.
