COURSE CURRICULUM

The BSc Economics program is structured to build strong analytical, quantitative, and research skills over three years. In first year, students study core modules such as Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Information Economics, Econometrics, and Quantitative Analysis, which provide a solid foundation in economic theory and data analysis. They also complete a research skills module called Exploring Economics, which introduces independent inquiry and critical thinking. In addition, students take two subjects outside economics from selected groups, allowing them to broaden their academic perspective. In second year, the program becomes more advanced, with modules including Intermediate Microeconomics and Macroeconomics, Econometrics II, Statistical Computing with R, Corporate Finance, and Advanced Quantitative Methods. Students also participate in a BSc Team Project, where they apply their knowledge in a collaborative setting. In third year, students focus on higher-level topics such as Advanced Microeconomics, including game theory, Advanced Macroeconomics, and Applied Econometrics. A key component of this year is the completion of a year-long research thesis, where students conduct independent research on an economic topic of their choice. Overall, the program develops strong analytical, technical, and research abilities, preparing students for careers or further study in economics.
