COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Education in Primary Teaching is structured over four years with a consistent focus on Education as the core subject throughout the program. In first year, students are introduced to the fundamental principles of education, including child development, learning theories, and the basics of teaching practice. This stage builds a strong foundation for understanding how children learn and how classrooms operate. In second year, students continue studying Education in greater depth, expanding their knowledge of teaching methods, curriculum development, and classroom management, while also gaining more practical experience through school placements. In third year, the program further develops students’ professional skills, with a stronger emphasis on applying teaching strategies in real classroom settings and reflecting on their practice. Students continue to build confidence and competence in delivering lessons and supporting pupil learning. In fourth year, students focus on advanced aspects of education, refining their teaching abilities and preparing for entry into the teaching profession.
