COURSE CURRICULUM

The BCL Law and Business program is structured over three years to provide a balanced and integrated study of both disciplines. In first year, students study Business and Law, gaining a strong foundation in key areas such as legal principles, business operations, and organisational functions. This stage introduces students to the basic concepts of both subjects, helping them understand how law and business interact in real-world contexts. In second year, students continue with Law while also studying Business with a focus on its legal aspects, allowing them to explore how legal frameworks influence business decisions and practices. This year builds on earlier knowledge and develops more advanced analytical and problem-solving skills. In third year, students return to studying Business and Law at a higher level, deepening their understanding of both fields and their interconnection. Throughout the program, students develop important transferable skills such as critical thinking, reasoning, communication, and the ability to analyse complex issues from both legal and commercial perspectives. The structure ensures a gradual progression from foundational knowledge to more advanced and applied learning. Overall, the degree prepares students for careers in areas where legal and business knowledge overlap, such as commercial law, management, or entrepreneurship.
