COURSE CURRICULUM

The BBS Marketing program is structured to progressively build students’ knowledge and skills in marketing from foundational concepts to advanced strategic thinking. In first year, students are introduced to core marketing topics such as Consumer Behaviour, Consumer Research, and Marketing, which help them understand how customers think and how markets operate. Alongside these, they study broader business modules, including Introduction to Managing Innovation, giving them a wider perspective on how organisations function. In second year, the focus shifts to developing a deeper understanding of marketing management through modules such as Brand Management, Marketing Management, Digital Marketing, and International Business. These subjects help students learn how to plan, manage, and execute marketing strategies in both local and global contexts. Students also have the option to take a 10 credit elective, allowing them to explore additional areas of interest. In the final year, the emphasis is on strategic decision making and advanced marketing concepts. Students study modules such as International Marketing, Social Media, Contemporary Issues in Marketing, Business Analytics, and Strategic Management, which prepare them to analyse complex market environments and design effective strategies. Overall, the program equips students with practical, analytical, and strategic skills for careers in marketing.
