COURSE CURRICULUM

The MH101 Bachelor of Arts program offers a structured yet flexible subject selection across three years, organised into timetable groups to ensure balanced choices. In Year 1, students can choose from a wide variety of subjects spread across seven groups, including areas such as Geography, Law, Philosophy, Business, Criminology, English, Anthropology, Economics, Computer Science, Sociology, Politics, and Psychology, along with language options like German, Spanish, French, and Chinese Studies. Mathematics-related subjects and Universal Critical Skills are also available in multiple groups, allowing students to build diverse combinations while selecting one subject per group. In Year 2, the program becomes more focused, with core subjects like Geography, History, English, Anthropology, Economics, and options such as Greek and Roman Civilization and Mathematical Physics, alongside elective streams that broaden academic exploration. By Year 3, students continue specialising in selected disciplines including Geography, History, English, Anthropology, Economics, and Mathematics-related subjects, with fewer but more in-depth choices. Overall, the structure supports gradual specialisation, starting with broad interdisciplinary exposure in first year and progressing toward more focused academic pathways in later years, while still maintaining flexibility through electives and varied subject groupings.
