COURSE CURRICULUM

The Postgraduate Diploma in Interactive Digital Media at Griffith College provides a comprehensive curriculum designed to prepare students for careers in the evolving digital media industry. In the first stage, students build foundational knowledge through modules in Digital Media and Society, Research Methods, Visual Communication, and Web Authoring, which establish a solid understanding of how digital media functions in society and how to create engaging online content. In the second stage, learners deepen their practical and technical skills with modules such as Interaction Design, Programming for Interactive Digital Media, Business of Digital Media, and Digital Media Platforms, allowing them to combine creative design with coding and strategic business insight. Students also have the opportunity to tailor their learning through elective modules, choosing from areas including Game Design and Development, Theories and Principles of Animation, Digital Storytelling, 3D Modelling and Rendering, Desktop Publishing, Web Frameworks, eLearning, and Video Production. These electives provide additional flexibility for students to focus on specific interests or career goals within the digital media field.
