COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc in Procurement and Supply Chain Management at Griffith College is structured to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of procurement, supply chain operations, and sustainability in business. In Stage 1, Semester 1, learners study modules including Sustainable Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Sustainable Finance, and the Circular Economy, which provide a strong foundation in environmentally and socially responsible business practices. In Semester 2, students progress to Business Research Methods, Leadership for Organisations, Technology for Procurement Professionals, Business Negotiations, and Fostering Sustainable Practices, allowing them to develop critical skills in management, strategy, and decision-making. Elective modules such as Sustainable SMEs: Building Resilience and Compliance and Logistics and International Trade provide additional opportunities to tailor learning to specific interests and industry needs. The program culminates in the research and dissertation stage, where students undertake either a traditional MSc Dissertation or a Dissertation by Practice – Industry Report, applying theoretical knowledge to real-world challenges in procurement and supply chain management. This structure ensures that graduates not only acquire a thorough understanding of contemporary supply chain practices but also develop practical problem-solving, research, and leadership skills, preparing them for successful careers in a wide range of industries, from manufacturing to services, with a focus on sustainable and innovative business practices.
