COURSE CURRICULUM

The MA in International Law at Griffith College provides a comprehensive program for non-law graduates to develop expertise in international legal systems, research, and practice. In Semester 1, students focus on core subjects including Law of International Organisations, International Human Rights Law, International Commercial Law, and Legal Research and Writing, which establish a strong foundation in both theoretical and practical aspects of international law. These modules are designed to build analytical and critical thinking skills, enabling learners to navigate complex legal frameworks and produce high-quality research outputs. In Semester 2, students have the opportunity to choose from a wide range of elective modules tailored to their professional interests and career goals. Electives include Corporate Governance, International Commercial Arbitration, EU Markets and Competition Law, International Financial Services Law, International Intellectual Property Law, and International Tax Law, alongside specialized areas such as Gender, Sexuality and Human Rights, International Asylum and Immigration Law, International Criminal Law, International Humanitarian Law, Restorative Justice, Criminology, Social, Economic and Environmental Rights, and International Privacy and Data Protection Law.
