COURSE CURRICULUM

The BA (Hons) in Business (Marketing) program includes a comprehensive curriculum that develops both business knowledge and specialized marketing skills over three years. In the first year, students build a strong foundation in core business subjects such as Business Mathematics, Business Management, Financial Accounting, Finance Fundamentals, and Marketing Essentials. They also study Principles of Macroeconomics and Microeconomics to understand economic environments, while Digital and AI Technologies for Business introduces modern technological tools used in business. Essential Skills for Success helps students develop communication, teamwork, and academic skills needed for their studies and future careers. In the second year, students expand their understanding of business operations and marketing practices through modules such as Cost and Management Accounting, Entrepreneurship, Human Resource Management, and Legal Aspects of Business. They also explore digital marketing through Strategy and Planning and Implementation and Optimisation modules, while learning about Organisation Behaviour, Managing Information Systems for Business, Operations and Supply Chain Management, and Personal and Professional Development. In the third year, students focus on advanced topics including Business Financial Management, Ethics and Sustainability, Global Business Environments, Strategic Management, and the creation of a Business Plan. Students can also choose elective modules such as Branding and Communications, Customer Relations and Personal Selling, Global Marketing, and Marketing Measurement and Analytics to further develop specialized marketing expertise.
