COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc in Artificial Intelligence (Level 9, 90 ECTS) is designed to address the growing industry demand for AI professionals by equipping learners from related academic backgrounds with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. The program spans three semesters and offers a comprehensive curriculum that blends foundational AI concepts with advanced applications. In the first semester, students develop core skills in programming, graph theory, artificial intelligence, machine learning, pattern recognition, and research methods. The second semester introduces more advanced AI topics such as recommender systems, deep learning, reinforcement learning, and natural language processing, while also strengthening applied research methods. The final semester is dedicated to a capstone Applied Research Project or Dissertation, allowing students to apply their knowledge to a real-world problem or area of interest.Throughout the course, learners gain technical expertise in AI development and deployment, a strong grasp of ethical and managerial aspects of AI, and robust analytical and problem-solving abilities. In addition, professional competencies such as teamwork, communication, and leadership are developed, preparing students to contribute effectively within organisational settings.
