The BA (Hons) in Business is a structured three-year program designed to build comprehensive business knowledge, practical skills, and strategic thinking. In Year 1, students are introduced to core business principles through modules such as Maths and Stats for Business, Business Context and Organisation, Marketing Essentials, IT Essentials, Economic Perspectives, Foundational Academic Skills, and Introduction to Business Finance. These foundational modules provide essential quantitative, digital, and analytical skills while also building an understanding of how businesses operate within economic and organisational contexts.Year 2 advances learners’ knowledge with core modules such as Management, Financial Management, Business Ethics and Research Practice, and International Economics. These modules deepen students' understanding of managerial practices, ethical decision-making, financial systems, and the global economic landscape. Modules like Digital Business Solutions and Adaptive Leadership in Sustainable Enterprises focus on the digital transformation of business and sustainable leadership approaches, both of which are increasingly vital in today’s workplace. Project Feasibility introduces students to planning and evaluating the viability of business initiatives, enhancing project management and strategic evaluation skills.In Year 3, students refine their expertise and apply their knowledge to more complex and strategic areas. Core modules include Strategic Management, Global Business, Human Resource Management, and a Capstone Project, which enables students to integrate their learning through a practical research or consultancy-based assignment. Data Management and Analytics equips students with data-driven decision-making skills, while Creativity, Innovation and Entrepreneurship fosters entrepreneurial thinking and the ability to drive innovation within organisations.The program's combination of theoretical knowledge and practical skills ensures graduates are well-prepared for junior management roles or further postgraduate study.
