COURSE CURRICULUM

The BA (Hons) in Business is a structured three-year program designed to provide students with a comprehensive and practical understanding of business operations in a global context. In Year 1, students are introduced to essential business disciplines through modules such as Maths and Stats for Business, Business Context and Organisation, Marketing Essentials, and Introduction to Business Finance. Alongside these, IT Essentials, Economic Perspectives, and Foundational Academic Skills help build a strong base in digital literacy, economic awareness, and academic writing—skills vital for success throughout the program.In Year 2, the curriculum progresses into more advanced areas of business, including Management, Financial Management, and Business Ethics and Research Practice. These modules help learners develop leadership abilities, financial decision-making skills, and a deeper understanding of ethical considerations in the business world. Modules such as International Economics, Digital Business Solutions, Geopolitics, Global Finance, and Intercultural Management expose students to the complexities of the international business environment and the role of technology and cultural awareness in today’s globalised economy.Year 3 focuses on strategic thinking and real-world application. Core modules include Strategic Management, Global Business, Human Resource Management, and the Capstone Project, where students apply their knowledge to a substantial research or consultancy task. Additional modules such as Environment and Society, Global Issues, and International Marketing ensure that learners understand the broader impact of business decisions on the planet and society, and how to operate responsibly in diverse markets.Throughout the program, students develop analytical, communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills, preparing them for various career paths or further postgraduate study.
