COURSE CURRICULUM

The Automotive Engineering MSc curriculum is designed to provide students with advanced technical knowledge and practical skills aligned with the evolving demands of the automotive industry. In the first year, students build a strong scientific and engineering foundation. Mathematics I, focusing on the application of differential equations, and Mathematics II, covering stochastic systems, develop advanced analytical competencies essential for modeling dynamic vehicle systems and production processes. Solid state and semiconductor physics support understanding of modern electronic components used in automotive technologies, while Applied Dynamics strengthens knowledge of motion and mechanical behavior in vehicles. Courses such as Measurement, Signal Processing and Electronics, Electric Drives, and Internet of Things – Systems and Technologies prepare students for intelligent and connected vehicle systems.The curriculum also emphasizes sustainable and efficient production. Vehicle Manufacturing Environmental Toxicology and Life Cycle Analysis and Non-fossil Energy Sources address environmental responsibility and energy efficiency. Production Management and Production Planning, Quality Assurance of Automotive Production Processes, Robotics and Vehicle Manufacturing, Body Production Technologies, and Pneumatic and Hydraulic Elements of Production Systems provide expertise in modern automotive manufacturing technologies and automation systems.In the second year, the focus shifts toward optimization, safety, and advanced industrial applications. Courses such as 6 Sigma and Lean Knowledge, Assembly and Production Automation, Automotive Safety Technology, and Material Handling and AGV Systems enhance competencies in process improvement, automation, and production efficiency. The Internship offers substantial hands-on industrial experience, while the Project Task allows students to solve real engineering problems. The program culminates in a Thesis, integrating theoretical knowledge and practical skills in an independent research or development project. Overall, the curriculum prepares graduates to innovate, optimize, and lead within modern automotive engineering environments.
