COURSE CURRICULUM

The Mechatronics Engineering MSc curriculum is structured to provide students with a strong interdisciplinary foundation and advanced professional competencies in modern engineering systems. In the first year, students focus on core theoretical and technical subjects that support the integration of mechanical, electronic, and control engineering. Mathematics and Spatial Mechanisms and Dynamical Systems develop advanced analytical and modeling skills necessary for understanding motion, kinematics, and complex mechanical behavior. Electronics and Control Theory provide essential knowledge for designing and regulating automated and intelligent systems, while Digital and Servo Drives focus on motion control technologies widely used in robotics and industrial automation. Materials Science introduces students to the properties and applications of advanced engineering materials, supporting innovative product development. In addition, Economical, Financial and Investment Decisions for Engineers and Engineering Leadership and Organizational Methods equip students with managerial, financial, and leadership skills, preparing them to evaluate investment opportunities, manage resources efficiently, and coordinate engineering teams effectively.In the second year, the program emphasizes applied technologies and real-world experience. Embedded Systems and Image Processing provide specialized knowledge in intelligent control units, sensor integration, and machine vision systems, which are fundamental components of modern mechatronic solutions. The Internship component allows students to gain practical industry experience, apply theoretical knowledge in professional settings, and develop problem-solving skills in real engineering environments. The program culminates in the Thesis, where students undertake independent research or development projects, integrating mechanical design, electronics, control systems, and computing into a coherent engineering solution.Overall, the curriculum prepares graduates to design, develop, and manage advanced mechatronic systems, combining technical expertise with economic and leadership competencies.
