COURSE CURRICULUM
The Electrical Engineering MSc program is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in both theoretical and practical aspects of electrical, electronic, and computer engineering. In the first year, students focus on core subjects that build essential knowledge and technical skills. Courses in Mathematics, Solid State and Semiconductor Physics, and System and Control Theory provide the analytical and scientific basis for understanding complex electrical systems. Students also study Engineering Communication and Internet of Things – Systems and Technologies, which develop their ability to design and implement modern networked devices and industrial systems. Additional courses such as Modern Industrial Process Control, Circuit Design and Simulation, Electromagnetic Fields, Industrial Quality Management, Signal Processing, Measurement Theory, and Theory and Practice of Filters offer practical and hands-on experience in designing, analyzing, and controlling electrical systems. Projects undertaken in the first year allow students to apply theoretical knowledge to real-world engineering problems, preparing them for advanced work in the field.In the second year, the program shifts focus toward applied technologies, integration, and advanced research. Courses such as Integrated Enterprise Resource Planning Systems, Real-Time Operating Systems, and Embedded Systems provide skills for designing and managing complex industrial and computational systems. Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) and Interference (EMI), Sensor Networks, Sensor Fusion, and Wired and Wireless Data Communications teach students how to ensure reliable performance and connectivity in modern electronic and networked devices. Automated Test Techniques and project-based work further develop practical skills in testing, validating, and optimizing systems. The program culminates in a Thesis, giving students the opportunity to conduct independent research, integrate knowledge from multiple disciplines, and contribute original solutions to challenges in electrical engineering.Overall, the curriculum equips graduates with the ability to design, develop, and integrate innovative electrical, electronic, and computer systems, as well as to participate in both applied and fundamental research. Graduates are prepared to take on professional engineering roles, lead development projects, and pursue doctoral-level studies, combining technical expertise with problem-solving, analytical, and research competencies required in modern engineering environments.
