COURSE CURRICULUM

In Semester 1, students build a strong foundation in European and international legal systems. Institutions of the European Union provides an in-depth understanding of the structure, powers, and functioning of EU bodies. Harmonization of Laws in the European Union examines the mechanisms through which Member States align their national legislation with EU requirements. Introduction to International Business Law offers an overview of the legal environment governing cross-border commercial activities. EU Internal Market Law 1 and EU Internal Market Law 2 focus on the fundamental freedoms and regulatory framework of the internal market. EU Competition Law addresses antitrust rules, state aid, and merger control. Principles of Public International Law introduces the sources and core doctrines of international law. European Consumer Protection Law and European Criminal Law explore key sectoral regulations. Students also select Elective Courses 1–2 to tailor their studies to specific interests.In Semester 2, the program advances toward specialized and practice-oriented subjects. International Sale of Goods covers cross-border commercial transactions and relevant conventions. International and European Intellectual Property Law examines the protection of innovations and creative works. International Commercial Arbitration focuses on dispute resolution mechanisms in international trade. European and International Contract Law analyzes contractual relationships in a cross-border context. Public Management provides insight into governance and regulatory administration. European Company Law and European Labor and Social Law address corporate structures and employment regulation. Case-law of the European Court of Justice develops interpretative skills through landmark decisions. Private International Law explores jurisdiction and applicable law in transnational disputes, complemented by Elective Course 3.
