COURSE CURRICULUM

The program is structured to progressively develop scientific, technical, and precision agriculture expertise over three years. In the first year, students build strong foundations in mathematics, informatics, chemistry, physics, botany, plant physiology, microbiology, soil science, animal physiology, horticulture, plant pathology, environmental management, and core agricultural principles. The second year introduces applied and analytical subjects such as statistics, agrometeorology, water management, crop production, animal husbandry, land use, integrated crop protection, agricultural marketing and microeconomics, the global food system, agricultural computer applications, geospatial data analysis, agricultural mechanics and robotics, and an introduction to precision agriculture with laboratory practice, alongside farm machinery system management. In the third year, the focus shifts to advanced engineering and precision farming applications, including hydraulics and pneumatics, quality management systems, technical writing, management and organisational knowledge, technical consulting in precision farming, precision feeding and animal husbandry, agricultural data mapping, soil and plant sensor applications, climate risk management, crop management using precision technologies, electrical diagnostics for farm machinery, and project work. This curriculum equips students with a balanced combination of agricultural science, engineering, data analysis, and management skills, preparing them to apply precision farming technologies and sustainable practices in modern agricultural environments.
