The Mechatronics Engineering program offers a structured, progressive curriculum that equips students with strong foundations in mathematics, engineering physics, informatics, electromagnetism, and electrotechnics, while introducing core concepts such as materials engineering, computer-aided modelling, basic mechatronics, engineering economics, and professional law and ethics in the first year. As students advance, they deepen their understanding of statics, strength of materials, electronics, machine elements, manufacturing technologies, dynamics and vibration, and mechatronic devices, alongside practical competencies in measurement and data acquisition, applied automation, pneumatics and hydraulics, and environment, health and safety. Economic literacy is strengthened through microeconomics and enterprise-level economic processes, ensuring graduates understand both technical and business contexts. In the third year, the focus shifts toward higher-level integration of systems through quality and technical management, electropneumatics and electrohydraulics, modelling and simulation, prototype technologies, robotic systems, electrical machines and drives, thermodynamic processes, CAx techniques, and cyber-physical systems, enabling students to design and analyze complex automated solutions. Throughout the program, strong emphasis is placed on hands-on learning, laboratory work, and system-level thinking, allowing students to combine mechanical engineering, electronics, and computer control into unified applications. By the final year, learners apply their accumulated knowledge in a comprehensive mechatronics project and thesis, demonstrating their ability to solve real engineering problems independently. Graduates emerge with practical design, operation, and maintenance skills, an understanding of automation and robotics, and the capability to contribute to energy-efficient and environmentally responsible production systems. This balanced combination of theory, application, and project-based learning prepares students for careers in automation, manufacturing, robotics, and intelligent systems, while also providing a solid foundation for further academic or professional development.
