COURSE CURRICULUM

The Mechanical Engineering program provides a structured academic pathway that builds strong technical competence through a balanced combination of theoretical foundations and applied engineering practice. In the first year, students establish core knowledge in mathematics, engineering physics, materials engineering, statics, technical chemistry, engineering informatics, descriptive geometry, and technical drawing with CAD basics, creating a solid base for understanding mechanical systems and material behavior. The second year deepens this foundation with strength of materials, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, dynamics and vibration, machine elements, measurement technology, and electrotechnics and electronics, alongside studies in economics and law, microeconomics, and macroeconomics, enabling students to connect engineering principles with real-world industrial and business contexts. During the third year, emphasis shifts toward practical application through manufacturing processes, advanced machine elements, applied automatization, and basics of engineering management, preparing students to participate effectively in production, system optimization, and technical decision-making. In the final year, learners focus on environmental, health, safety, and ergonomic considerations, specialized courses aligned with their interests, optional subjects, and an independent thesis project that demonstrates their ability to solve engineering problems using acquired knowledge and skills. Throughout the program, students develop competencies in mechanical design, system operation, process analysis, and quality awareness while strengthening analytical thinking, teamwork, and communication abilities.
