COURSE CURRICULUM

The program offers a structured three-year curriculum designed to integrate engineering fundamentals with management, economics, and specialised professional knowledge, preparing graduates for practical, industry-oriented careers. In the first year, students develop a strong foundation in mathematics, engineering physics and chemistry, mechanics, engineering informatics, projective geometry, environmental sustainability, geographical information systems, and health and safety, alongside essential business subjects such as microeconomics, macroeconomics, business statistics, accounting, quality management, ergonomics, and business economics. This initial stage establishes both technical literacy and economic awareness. The second year deepens this interdisciplinary approach by combining management-related studies including innovation and strategic management, project management, business management, lean engineering, communication, and labour and business law with core engineering topics such as mechanical and computer drawing, materials engineering, general mechanics, electrotechnics and electronics, measurement techniques, and collaborative process automation. Financial competence is further strengthened through macroeconomic finance, advanced accounting, analysis and controlling, corporate finance, and economic modelling of company operations. In the third year, students focus on field-specific compulsory subjects aligned with their chosen specialisation. Those selecting Construction Industry study architecture basics, building structures and materials, construction management, structural construction, and building energetics. Industrial Process Engineering students concentrate on logistics, process planning, operations management, system analysis, applied quality tools, decision support methods, and modern industrial maintenance. The Material Handling and Logistics pathway covers goods transfer, packaging technology, material handling systems, logistics information systems, production logistics, supply chain management, and logistics. Throughout the program, emphasis is placed on problem-solving, analytical thinking, teamwork, and the practical application of theoretical knowledge, enabling graduates to adapt to professional standards and workplace expectations while contributing effectively to engineering, operational, and managerial environments.
