COURSE CURRICULUM

The Business Informatics BSc curriculum offers a comprehensive and practice-oriented pathway that integrates management, economics, and information technology across four years of study. In the first year, students build foundational knowledge through subjects such as Introduction to Management, Business Law, Microeconomics, Financial Accounting, Programming, Operating Systems, Data Management, and Data Structures and Algorithms, establishing both business awareness and core computing skills. The second year deepens this integration with Macroeconomics, Finance, Organizational Behaviour, Marketing, Database Systems, Information and Knowledge Management, and Business Intelligence in Practice, enabling students to understand how data supports organizational decision-making. During the third year, the focus shifts toward advanced professional competencies, including Management Science, Software Development and Testing, Computer Security, Financial Mathematics, Big Data Analytics, Data Visualization, Corporate Finance, Strategic Management, Decision Support Systems, and International Business, alongside hands-on modules in developing data-handling programs and computer statistics. Students also gain practical exposure to enterprise systems through end-user and developer-level training in SAP, strengthening their readiness for real-world business environments. The final year consolidates learning with Advanced Data Security, Digital Marketing, Foundations of Artificial Intelligence, and Management of Value Creating Processes, culminating in a thesis project that demonstrates independent problem-solving and applied research skills.
