COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Agricultural Engineering program is structured over four years, progressively building students’ knowledge and practical skills. In the first year, students gain foundational understanding in subjects such as zoology, agricultural history, mathematics, chemistry, botany, animal physiology, microbiology, plant physiology, soil and water management, environmental management, rural development, and informatics. The second year introduces applied topics, including land use and regional development, agricultural machinery, crop production, agrochemistry and agroecology, animal feeding and husbandry, horticulture, and advanced water management, alongside economic sciences. The third year focuses on specialised and managerial areas such as plant genetics and breeding, animal husbandry, horticulture, forest and game management, grassland management, integrated plant protection, environmental management, economic sciences, statistics, food technologies, quality management systems, and farm business management. The program culminates in the fourth year with professional practice and a thesis, allowing students to integrate their theoretical and practical knowledge in real-world projects and research. This structured progression ensures graduates are technically proficient, capable of innovative problem-solving, and fully prepared for careers in sustainable agriculture, food production, and resource management.
