COURSE CURRICULUM

The International Relations BA program at Budapest Metropolitan University is organised into a clear six-semester structure that gradually guides students from foundational knowledge to professional specialisation and practical experience. During the first and second semesters, students receive a broad introduction to the social sciences, building essential skills in analysis, communication, and critical thinking while also studying the historical foundations of contemporary international relations. This initial phase helps learners understand how today’s global political and social systems emerged, providing important context for later professional studies.
