The Animation Design BA program at Budapest Metropolitan University offers two focused specialisations—Creative Animation and 3D Animation—allowing students to shape their learning according to artistic or technical interests while building strong foundations in animation design. The Creative Animation pathway is ideal for students who want comprehensive insight into the full animation process, from story and concept development through to final execution. Alongside primarily 2D digital techniques, learners also explore traditional approaches such as hand-drawn and puppet animation, placing strong emphasis on artistic expression, creativity, drawing, visual design, and storytelling.
