The MSc in Logistics and Supply Chain Management modules provide students with comprehensive knowledge of operations, international logistics, procurement, supply chain strategy, risk management, emerging technologies, and business research. Managing Operations focuses on the planning, coordination, and improvement of organizational operations, helping students understand how resources, processes, people, and systems can be managed efficiently to achieve business objectives. International Logistics & Supply Chain examines the movement of goods, services, and information across international markets, including global supply networks, transportation, distribution, and coordination between different stakeholders. Strategic Issues in Logistics develops students’ understanding of the strategic challenges affecting logistics and supply chain activities, enabling them to evaluate decisions that influence efficiency, competitiveness, customer satisfaction, and long-term organizational performance. Applied Logistics, Procurement and Supply focuses on the practical management of purchasing, sourcing, supplier relationships, inventory, transportation, and supply activities, helping students understand how effective procurement and logistics contribute to organizational value. Risk and Resilience in Holistic Value Chain Management examines potential disruptions and vulnerabilities across the wider value chain and develops students’ ability to identify risks, build resilience, and create strategies that help organizations respond effectively to unexpected challenges. Emerging Technologies explores the role of modern digital technologies in transforming logistics and supply chain operations, with emphasis on how technology can improve visibility, automation, data management, communication, efficiency, and decision-making. Business Research Project enables students to apply their academic and professional knowledge to an independent research project focused on a relevant business, logistics, or supply chain issue. Students develop research, analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills while investigating a specific topic and presenting evidence-based conclusions. Together, these modules provide a balanced combination of theoretical knowledge and practical skills, preparing students to understand and manage complex supply chain activities in both domestic and international environments. The programme develops capabilities relevant to careers in logistics management, supply chain planning, procurement, purchasing, operations, transportation, risk management, and technology-driven supply chain transformation.
