The BA in International Tourism Management modules provide students with a broad understanding of tourism, hospitality, events, destination management, sustainability, innovation, service excellence, research, and professional development. Foundations of Tourism introduces the fundamental concepts, structures, and principles of the tourism industry, helping students understand how tourism operates in international contexts. Tourism Impacts and Sustainability examines the economic, social, cultural, and environmental effects of tourism while exploring approaches to responsible and sustainable development. Delivering Human Centred Design focuses on designing tourism and service experiences around the needs, expectations, and behaviours of visitors and customers. The Events Industry provides knowledge of event planning, management, operations, and the role of events within tourism. Service Industry Decision Making develops students’ ability to evaluate information and make effective decisions within tourism and service organizations. Transformation, Innovation & Impact explores how innovation and organizational change can influence tourism businesses and destinations. Responsible Tourism emphasizes ethical and sustainable tourism practices and considers how the industry can minimize negative impacts while creating benefits for communities and destinations. Tourism Management and Development examines strategies for managing and developing tourism destinations and organizations. Managing Visitor Attractions focuses on the planning, operation, marketing, and management of attractions that influence visitor experiences. Resort and Spa Management introduces students to the management of resorts, spas, and related hospitality services. Events and Tourism Research develops research skills relevant to tourism and event management, while Career Development and Employability supports students in building professional skills and preparing for employment. The Research Project enables independent investigation of a relevant tourism topic, while the Professional Consultancy Project allows students to apply their knowledge to a practical industry-related challenge. Innovation in Tourism & Hospitality Management explores new approaches, technologies, and ideas that can improve tourism and hospitality businesses. International Destination Management examines the strategic development and management of destinations in global markets. Mega Events explores the planning, management, impacts, and significance of large-scale international events. Finally, Service Excellence Design focuses on developing high-quality customer experiences and improving service delivery.
