COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master's degree program in International Public Health Management (MSc) is a comprehensive and application-oriented course designed to prepare students for high-level leadership and management roles in the global health sector. Spread over four semesters, the program consists of 120 ECTS credits and includes both theoretical and practical components aimed at equipping graduates with interdisciplinary expertise.In the first semester, students are introduced to foundational topics such as Principles of Public Health, Globalisation and Public Health Challenges, and Contemporary Leadership Culture. They also begin exploring practical methodologies through courses like Advanced Research Methodologies and participate in interdisciplinary electives.The second semester focuses on analytical and strategic areas, including Health Economics and Finance, Psychology and Sociology of Healthcare, Epidemiology, and ICT in Healthcare Organisations. These modules deepen students’ understanding of both the social and technological factors influencing modern healthcare.In the third semester, students expand their knowledge in practical fields such as HRM in the Health Sector, Public Health Systems and Policy, Health Promotion and Prevention, and Health Statistics and Data Analysis. The semester also includes CSR, Ethics and Regenerative Design and Project Management, aligning public health practices with ethical and sustainable leadership principles.The fourth semester is dedicated to professional application. Students complete a Capstone Project (15 ECTS) that may involve consultancy work or interdisciplinary collaboration, followed by the Thesis and Colloquium (30 ECTS), where they demonstrate their academic research and strategic planning abilities in a major public health topic.Overall, the curriculum reflects the complexity of the healthcare sector and prepares students to become innovative, ethically grounded leaders capable of shaping public health systems worldwide.
