COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master’s program in International Logistics and Transportation Management (MSc) at the University of Europe for Applied Sciences offers a comprehensive and practice-oriented curriculum that prepares students for leadership roles in global logistics and supply chain operations. Structured across four semesters and totaling 120 ECTS, the program covers a wide range of subjects designed to provide both theoretical foundations and hands-on experience. In the first semester, students are introduced to the fundamentals of logistics, project management, and globalisation in the logistics domain. Key emphasis is placed on understanding how global trends and digital transformation are influencing logistics practices today.The second semester deepens this knowledge with a focus on information and communication technologies in logistics, green logistics and sustainability, and advanced research methodologies. Students also explore themes of ethics, corporate social responsibility, and regenerative design, helping them to align operational goals with responsible environmental and societal practices.In the third semester, the curriculum shifts towards specialised fields, including maritime, air, land, and urban logistics and transportation. Modules in inventory and warehouse management, as well as total quality management and supply chain strategies, ensure students understand both strategic and operational aspects of modern logistics systems. An interdisciplinary elective allows them to broaden their knowledge by selecting a module from another UE faculty, further enhancing their adaptability in diverse business environments.The program concludes with a capstone project and a final thesis, where students apply their knowledge to real-world challenges, often in collaboration with industry partners. Throughout their studies, students are supported by expert faculty and benefit from a strong network of business contacts.
