COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc Digital Transformations program comprises four semesters, each awarding 30 ECTS credits, totaling 120 ECTS for the entire degree. Each semester includes approximately 18 hours per week of coursework, except the final semester, which has 1 hour per week dedicated to the thesis and colloquium.Core specialization modules offered throughout the program include Digital Transformation (5 ECTS), Data Analytics (5 ECTS), Managing Innovation (5 ECTS), Agile Development (5 ECTS), Media Informatics (3 ECTS), Marketing Analytics (3 ECTS), Machine Learning (5 ECTS), Man-Machine Interaction (5 ECTS), and Digital Interactive Media (5 ECTS). These courses ensure a comprehensive understanding of both technical and strategic aspects of digital transformation.The curriculum also features interdisciplinary electives, such as Speculative Futures (5 ECTS) and Comparative Cultural Studies (5 ECTS), allowing students to tailor their learning to their interests and career goals. Additionally, modules like Entrepreneurial Thinking & Digital Models (3 ECTS), Contemporary Leadership Culture (5 ECTS), and Advanced Research Methodologies (5 ECTS) prepare students with leadership skills and research competencies essential for digital transformation initiatives.Students have the option to select electives from other UE faculties, broadening their interdisciplinary knowledge. The program culminates in a Capstone Project worth 15 ECTS credits, which is a practical, consulting-oriented project that may involve collaboration across multiple study programs, offering valuable real-world experience. The final Thesis and Colloquium (30 ECTS) enable students to conduct in-depth research, synthesizing their learning.This balanced combination of theory, practical projects, and interdisciplinary electives equips graduates to lead and innovate in the rapidly evolving digital landscape.
