COURSE CURRICULUM

The Prevention and Therapy Management MSc is a one-year, 60 ECTS program designed to equip students with essential knowledge and skills for leadership roles in healthcare management. The curriculum is divided into two semesters, each consisting of 30 ECTS credits and about 18 and 11 hours per week of study, respectively. The program offers a blend of specialization modules, interdisciplinary courses, and electives from other faculties to provide a comprehensive education in healthcare management. Key specialization modules include Health Economics and Finance, Strategic Management for Healthcare Organisations, HRM in the Health Sector, Health Markets and Health Industry, and Management Fundamentals of Prevention and Therapy Services. Students also study Startup and Marketing Management in Health Markets, Prevention and Therapy in Health Sciences, and Quality Management in Prevention and Therapy, focusing on both practical and theoretical aspects. The interdisciplinary elective module broadens students’ perspectives by integrating knowledge from related fields. The program culminates in a Thesis & Colloquium worth 15 ECTS, allowing students to conduct research and demonstrate their understanding of healthcare management challenges. Delivered in English, this MSc prepares graduates to work in various healthcare settings, including clinics, therapy centers, rehabilitation facilities, and wellness institutions. The combination of business acumen, management skills, and healthcare-specific knowledge empowers students to lead organizations that provide prevention and therapy services effectively, ensuring quality patient care and sustainable organizational success in a dynamic health market.
