COURSE CURRICULUM

The International Logistics & Transportation Management (M.Sc.) program consists of two semesters, totaling 60 ECTS credits. The first semester involves a comprehensive 18 hours per week workload, covering foundational and specialized logistics subjects. Students study Green Logistics and Sustainability, Fundamentals of Logistics, Logistics and Operations Management, and the Globalisation and the Role of the Logistics Domain, each worth 5 ECTS with approximately 3 hours per week. Additional modules include Project Management, Information and Communication Technologies in Logistics, Total Quality Management (TQM) and Supply Chain Management, and Inventory and Warehouse Management, emphasizing practical and strategic skills essential for modern logistics. There is also an Interdisciplinary Elective to broaden students’ perspectives by integrating knowledge from other fields. The second semester has a lighter weekly load of around 10 hours, primarily focused on the Thesis & Colloquium, which accounts for 15 ECTS credits and includes independent research and practical application within logistics and transportation management. The program also offers an elective module from the Art & Design faculty to encourage interdisciplinary learning. Overall, this MSc equips students with a solid understanding of logistics, sustainable practices, supply chain management, and project coordination, preparing them for leadership roles in the global logistics and transportation sector.
