COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc in Digital Transformations is a two-semester academic program followed by a final research component, totaling 60 ECTS credits. Designed to provide advanced theoretical and practical skills in digital innovation, the curriculum integrates technological, analytical, and managerial disciplines. In the first semester, students take foundational and specialization modules such as Managing Innovation, Digital Transformation, Digital Interactive Media, Media Informatics, and Data Analytics, each contributing 5 ECTS with around 3 instructional hours per week. These courses equip students with core competencies in emerging technologies, data processing, and media systems relevant to today’s digital economy. The second semester further develops applied knowledge through modules like Machine Learning, Agile Development, and Entrepreneurial Thinking & Digital Models, in addition to Advanced Research Methodologies, which supports the student’s transition into academic and professional research. Students also have the opportunity to take interdisciplinary electives from other university faculties, promoting a broader skill set and collaborative mindset. The program concludes with a 15 ECTS Thesis and Colloquium in the final semester, providing students the chance to conduct an in-depth research project that blends digital theory with real-world application. The structured yet flexible program framework is designed to prepare graduates for careers at the forefront of digital innovation, with roles in tech strategy, product development, digital consultancy, and transformation management.
