COURSE CURRICULUM

The Asset Management (M.Sc.) program consists of two semesters totaling 60 ECTS credits, with a workload of approximately 18 hours per week in the first semester and 10 hours in the second. The curriculum offers a combination of specialization modules from the study program, electives from the Art & Design faculty, and interdisciplinary electives. In the first semester, students study core topics including Green Economy and Sustainability, Risk Analysis and Decision-Making, Financial Analysis and Investments, and Portfolio Management and Trading, each worth 5 ECTS and requiring around 3 hours per week. The program also covers Principles of Asset Management and Globalisation and the New Economy, focusing on the evolving global financial landscape. The second semester continues with International Markets and Stock Exchange, Cryptocurrencies and other Alternative Investments, and further interdisciplinary electives, emphasizing contemporary issues in asset management and emerging financial technologies. The final part of the program is the Thesis & Colloquium, accounting for 15 ECTS, where students conduct in-depth research integrating theory and practice in asset management. This program equips students with a broad understanding of traditional and alternative investment strategies, sustainability considerations, and risk management to prepare them for careers in global finance and asset management sectors.
