COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc in Software Engineering is a three-semester program delivered in English, comprising a total of 90 ECTS. The curriculum emphasizes both technical depth and interdisciplinary breadth, preparing students for advanced roles in software development and system design. In the first semester, students earn 30 ECTS through modules such as Software Optimization, Pattern Recognition, Vehicular Technology, Advanced Software Design, and Entrepreneurial Thinking & Digital Models. These foundational courses provide students with practical skills in efficient coding, system architecture, and innovation-driven thinking. The second semester continues with another 30 ECTS, offering modules including Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Multi-Core Programming, Decision Support Systems, and Advanced Research Methodologies. This semester deepens students’ expertise in intelligent systems, scalable software solutions, and data-informed decision-making. The third semester includes interdisciplinary and leadership-oriented modules such as Comparative Cultural Studies, Contemporary Leadership Culture, and Speculative Futures, encouraging broader perspectives in technology and society. Additionally, students complete an Interdisciplinary Elective and a Thesis & Colloquium worth 20 ECTS, which serves as the culmination of the program, where students conduct a research or development project demonstrating their integrated knowledge and problem-solving abilities. Throughout the program, students can choose from faculty-wide and university-wide modules, enabling collaboration across disciplines and faculties. This structure not only hones software engineering expertise but also fosters leadership, critical thinking, and adaptability, equipping graduates for complex challenges in the global tech landscape.
