COURSE CURRICULUM

The International Public Health Management MSc is a three-semester program totaling 90 ECTS credits, designed to equip students with a comprehensive understanding of public health management in a global context. The first semester focuses on foundational knowledge, including advanced research methodologies, psychology and sociology of healthcare, project management, contemporary leadership culture, public health systems and policy, health promotion and prevention, health economics and finance, and globalisation and public health challenges. These courses amount to 30 ECTS with a workload of around 18 hours per week. In the second semester, students build on this foundation with modules such as ICT in healthcare organizations, health statistics and data analysis, HRM in the health sector, epidemiology, and interdisciplinary electives, again totaling 30 ECTS with a similar workload. The third semester is dedicated to the thesis and colloquium, allowing students to apply their theoretical and practical knowledge in an in-depth research project, contributing 30 ECTS credits. The curriculum encourages interdisciplinary learning through faculty-wide and elective modules from other study programs, preparing students for leadership roles in international health organizations, government, and NGOs. This structure combines academic rigor with practical application, ensuring graduates are well-prepared to tackle complex public health challenges globally.
