COURSE CURRICULUM

The International Logistics & Transportation Management (M.Sc.) program is structured over three semesters, totaling 90 ECTS credits, with an average weekly workload of 18 hours in the first two semesters and slightly less in the third. The first semester includes core modules such as Green Logistics and Sustainability, Fundamentals of Logistics, Maritime Logistics and Transportation, and an Interdisciplinary Elective, each worth 5 ECTS and about 3 hours per week. The second semester builds on this foundation with advanced topics like Globalisation and the Role of the Logistics Domain, Logistics and Operations Management, Inventory and Warehouse Management, Land- and City Logistics and Transportation, Air Logistics and Transportation, as well as Project Management, TQM and Supply Chain Management, and Information and Communication Technologies in Logistics. These modules aim to deepen practical and theoretical knowledge in logistics, sustainability, and transportation systems. The third semester focuses on the Thesis & Colloquium, which accounts for 20 ECTS credits and allows students to conduct research and apply their learning in a real-world context. Additionally, students engage in modules like Advanced Research Methodologies and Contemporary Leadership Culture, fostering interdisciplinary skills and leadership capabilities. Elective modules are also offered through the Art & Design faculty, encouraging a broader academic experience. This program equips graduates with comprehensive expertise to manage complex logistics and transportation challenges globally, preparing them for leadership roles in sustainable supply chain management and logistics operations.
