COURSE CURRICULUM

The MSc in Digital Transformations is a three-semester program totaling 90 ECTS, designed to prepare students for leadership roles in tech-driven industries by blending technical knowledge with strategic insight. In the first semester, students build core competencies in Digital Transformation, Media Informatics, Digital Interactive Media, Data Analytics, and Managing Innovation, with each module contributing 5 ECTS and approximately 3 hours per week. The second semester introduces advanced applications such as Machine Learning, Agile Development, Marketing Analytics, and Entrepreneurial Thinking & Digital Models, complemented by modules like Speculative Futures and Contemporary Leadership Culture. These courses encourage both analytical precision and creative foresight. Throughout the program, interdisciplinary learning is supported through electives from other UE faculties, along with faculty-wide modules that foster collaboration across disciplines. Students also undertake Comparative Cultural Studies and Advanced Research Methodologies to deepen their understanding of global contexts and academic rigor. The third semester is focused on the Thesis & Colloquium, which accounts for 20 ECTS and serves as a culmination of the skills and knowledge acquired. This final research project challenges students to apply digital strategies to real-world or theoretical problems, integrating innovation, design thinking, and data science. The MSc in Digital Transformations provides a forward-thinking curriculum that blends emerging technologies with business strategy and cultural literacy, equipping graduates for roles in digital consultancy, transformation management, innovation leadership, and beyond.
