COURSE CURRICULUM

The MBA with a specialization in Shipping and Logistics at UE offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to equip students with both broad business management knowledge and specialized expertise in the shipping and logistics industry. The program is structured over three semesters, totaling 90 ECTS credits. In the first semester, students focus on foundational modules such as Innovation Management (10 ECTS, 6 HWS), Strategic Vision (10 ECTS, 6 HWS), and Customer Environment (5 ECTS, 3 HWS), which develop their understanding of business innovation, strategy, and market dynamics. The second semester introduces the first specialization module, “Operations and Procedures in Shipping and Logistics” (10 ECTS, 6 HWS), alongside leadership and management courses, preparing students for practical challenges in logistics operations. The third semester includes the second specialization module, “Fundamentals and Internationalization of Shipping and Logistics” (10 ECTS, 6 HWS), complemented by Quantitative Methodologies (10 ECTS, 6 HWS) and the Master Thesis (20 ECTS, 0 HWS), where students apply their acquired knowledge in research and practical projects. Throughout the program, leadership, management, and operations modules enhance essential skills in decision-making and organizational effectiveness.
