COURSE CURRICULUM

The Master’s program in Visual & Experience Design (MA) is structured over two semesters totaling 60 ECTS, focusing on developing advanced skills in visual storytelling and interactive design. In the first semester, students study Graphic Practice & Narratives (5 ECTS, 3 hours/week), Culture in Technology (5 ECTS, 3 hours/week), and Speculative Futures (5 ECTS, 3 hours/week), alongside Advanced Research Methodologies and Contemporary Leadership Culture, which provide interdisciplinary perspectives and leadership skills. The second semester emphasizes practical and applied skills through Envisioning and Experience Design modules (each 10 ECTS, 6 hours/week), enabling students to create innovative and user-centered design solutions. The curriculum also includes a Thesis & Colloquium (1 ECTS) for research and final project presentation. The program is taught in English and integrates university-wide and faculty-wide interdisciplinary projects, fostering a broad collaborative environment. Students engage in both theoretical frameworks and practical applications, preparing them for careers in user experience (UX), visual design, and interactive media. The weekly workload ranges from 10 to 18 hours, combining studio practice, research, and leadership training. This balance ensures graduates gain creative, technical, and strategic competencies to succeed in the global design industry, addressing contemporary challenges through innovative and speculative design approaches.
