COURSE CURRICULUM

The International Sport & Event Management (M.A.) program spans three semesters with a total of 60 ECTS credits. The first semester, with a workload of 18 hours per week, includes core modules such as Athlete & Team Coaching, International Event Development & Implementation, and Advanced Research Methodologies, each worth 5 ECTS. Students also engage in interdisciplinary electives, fostering a broad skill set. In the second semester, which has a slightly higher weekly workload of 11 hours, students study International Congress Management, International Sport Organizations, International Sport Governance, Corporate Event Management, and Entrepreneurial Thinking & Digital Models, each contributing 5 ECTS. This semester focuses on practical and managerial aspects of international sports and events. The final semester is dedicated to the Thesis & Colloquium, accounting for 15 ECTS credits, where students apply their theoretical knowledge to research or practical projects. The curriculum also incorporates faculty-wide and interdisciplinary modules, allowing students to gain diverse perspectives and skills relevant to the international sport and event management industry. The program prepares graduates for leadership roles in sports organizations, event management, and related fields by combining academic theory with practical application.
