COURSE CURRICULUM

The Generative Design & AI master’s program consists of two semesters, totaling 60 ECTS credits, with an average weekly workload of 18 hours in the first semester and fewer hours in the second. The curriculum focuses on the intersection of design, AI, and emerging technologies, combining creative and technical skills. In the first semester, students take core modules including Creative Coding (5 ECTS, 3 hours per week), Generative AI (10 ECTS, 6 hours per week), Computation Design (10 ECTS, 6 hours per week), Augmented Realities (5 ECTS, 3 hours per week), Contemporary Leadership Culture (5 ECTS, 3 hours per week), and Speculative Futures (5 ECTS). These courses provide a strong foundation in AI-driven design, computational methods, and leadership in contemporary contexts. Additionally, students engage with interdisciplinary modules such as Design Research Methodologies (5 ECTS, 3 hours per week), as well as faculty-wide and university-wide projects that encourage collaboration across different fields of study. The second semester is dedicated primarily to the Master Thesis and Colloquium (15 ECTS), which involves a significant research project combining theoretical inquiry with practical application. This program prepares students to innovate at the cutting edge of generative design and artificial intelligence, fostering skills in computation, leadership, and speculative design futures.
