COURSE CURRICULUM

The International Sport & Event Management (M.A.) program is structured over three semesters, totaling 90 ECTS credits, with a weekly workload averaging 18 hours in the first two semesters and slightly less in the third. The first semester includes key modules such as Entrepreneurial Thinking & Digital Models, International Event Development & Implementation, Athlete & Team Coaching, Corporate Social Responsibility & Ethics, and Advanced Research Methodologies, each carrying 5 ECTS credits. These courses establish foundational knowledge in sports management, ethics, and entrepreneurship alongside essential research skills. In the second semester, students delve into International Congress Management, International Sport Governance, International Sport Organizations, Corporate Event Management, Contemporary Leadership Culture, and Comparative Cultural Studies, all designed to build practical expertise in event management, leadership, and cross-cultural understanding. An interdisciplinary elective allows students to broaden their knowledge beyond the core curriculum. The final semester focuses on the Thesis & Colloquium, which accounts for 20 ECTS credits, enabling students to undertake a substantial research or practical project integrating their learning. The program also offers interdisciplinary and university-wide modules, encouraging collaboration across faculties and broadening academic perspectives.
