COURSE CURRICULUM

The Generative Design & AI master’s program spans three semesters with a total of 90 ECTS credits and an average weekly workload of 18 hours in the first two semesters. In the first semester, students engage in core modules such as Creative Coding (5 ECTS, 3 hours per week), Generative AI & Visual Narratives (5 ECTS, 3 hours per week), Design Research Methodologies (5 ECTS), and an Interdisciplinary Elective (5 ECTS). Additional subjects include Cultural Studies (5 ECTS), Augmented Realities (5 ECTS), Experiments in Algorithmic Art (5 ECTS), Contemporary Leadership Culture (5 ECTS), and Speculative Futures (5 ECTS), which provide a broad foundation in creative technology, leadership, and speculative design. The second semester continues with advanced modules like Generative AI (10 ECTS, 6 hours per week), Computation Design (10 ECTS, 6 hours per week), and Atlas of Design (5 ECTS). Students also participate in faculty-wide and university-wide interdisciplinary projects to broaden their academic and practical experience. The third semester is dedicated primarily to the Master Thesis and Colloquium (20 ECTS), where students undertake a significant research project integrating theoretical study with practical applications. This program emphasizes the fusion of AI, creative coding, and design innovation, preparing students for leadership roles in emerging fields related to generative design and technology-driven visual narratives.
