COURSE CURRICULUM

The Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering is a six-semester program taught in English, designed to provide students with a strong foundation in modern software development and emerging technologies. Spanning 180 ECTS credits, the curriculum combines technical depth with practical experience to prepare students for a wide range of careers in software development, systems engineering, and digital innovation. The first semesters focus on core subjects such as mathematics and statistics, programming, computer architecture, operating systems, and quantitative and qualitative research methods. These modules equip students with analytical and problem-solving skills essential for software engineering.As students progress, they are introduced to advanced topics like backend and frontend development, software quality assurance, and IT security. Courses such as software engineering 1 and 2, IT agile development, and corporate management help students understand the full software development lifecycle, including both technical and managerial perspectives. Specialized modules in big data and analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and cloud computing expose students to cutting-edge technologies. Students also study GUI design, web optimization, digital communication, and platform management to ensure their solutions are user-friendly and efficient. The program places strong emphasis on employability, offering courses in business English and startup management, alongside a required internship and a semester abroad or in-industry placement to build practical experience.In the final semester, students complete a thesis and colloquium, demonstrating their ability to apply their knowledge to real-world challenges. The structure supports both theoretical learning and hands-on application, encouraging innovation, collaboration, and independent thinking. By graduation, students are capable of designing secure, scalable, and intelligent software systems. The program prepares them for roles in software development, data analysis, AI systems, and cloud-based platforms, making them valuable contributors in the rapidly evolving tech landscape.
