COURSE CURRICULUM

The Digital Business & Data Science (B.Sc.) program is structured over six semesters, offering a total of 180 ECTS credits. In the first semester, students focus on foundational subjects such as programming, management basics, mathematics and statistics, economics, marketing, and business English, building a strong base in both technical and business areas. The second semester expands on these fundamentals with courses in big data and analytics, human resources and organization, quantitative and qualitative methods, financial accounting, digital media, and soft skills development.The third semester continues with IT platforms, law, applied research projects, controlling and cost accounting, digital transformation, and agile and creative methods, helping students apply their knowledge in practical contexts. In the fourth semester, students learn frontend programming, IT agile development, IT security, and artificial intelligence, deepening their technical expertise.The fifth semester offers a semester abroad or an internship semester, allowing students to gain international experience or practical work exposure. The final semester includes an internship, the bachelor thesis, and a colloquium, enabling students to consolidate their learning through real-world application and research.Throughout the program, students also engage with digital work labs and finance courses, preparing them for various roles in the digital business and data science fields. Elective modules allow students to tailor their studies to specific interests, complementing the mandatory courses.Overall, this program equips students with a comprehensive understanding of digital technologies, business management, and data science, preparing them for careers in digital strategy, data analysis, and innovation management across diverse industries.
