COURSE CURRICULUM

In the Master’s degree program in User Experience & Data-Driven Design, students acquire in-depth knowledge in user-centred design, usability engineering, information psychology, and human–computer interaction, enabling them to design digital systems that are both intuitive and effective. The program emphasises the empirical identification of user needs through research methods, usability testing, and data collection, as well as the systematic analysis of qualitative and quantitative data to support well-founded design decisions. Alongside these foundations, students explore advanced technological and creative topics such as human–machine interaction technologies, multimodal interaction, advanced visualisation techniques, spatial design using augmented and virtual reality, and the application of artificial intelligence in interactive systems. This integration of technology and design equips students to develop innovative, next-generation digital experiences. Complementary modules in project management, product development, and innovation management strengthen students’ ability to plan, execute, and evaluate complex design projects within organisational contexts. In addition, a strong focus on data-driven decision-making ensures that design solutions are strategically aligned with measurable outcomes. Ethical considerations are also an essential part of the curriculum, encouraging responsible innovation and awareness of social impacts. Through this comprehensive and interdisciplinary approach, graduates develop the analytical, creative, and strategic competencies needed to shape meaningful, user-focused digital products and services in a rapidly evolving technological landscape.
