COURSE CURRICULUM

Master's program in Data Science – Digital Health, the curriculum is designed to progressively build your expertise across healthcare management, digital health systems, and data science. In the first semester, you are introduced to the foundations of healthcare management, including health systems, legal frameworks, and ethical considerations, alongside essential digital health concepts such as e-health, m-health, telemedicine, and electronic health records. At the same time, you begin your journey into digital health analytics through modules covering health data communication, statistics, requirements management, and programming fundamentals. The second semester deepens your understanding with advanced healthcare management topics like market access, regulatory affairs, and reimbursement strategies, while continuing your technical development through health application systems, data management, data preprocessing, and machine learning. You’ll also master data visualisation techniques and dashboard creation to turn complex data into actionable insights. In the third semester, the program offers a practical phase through an internship or a global study semester, allowing you to apply theoretical knowledge in real-world settings. Additionally, you’ll begin preparing your final research with a Master’s thesis colloquium and reflection module, while also working on a Digital Health Innovation Project that explores emerging trends and technologies in the field.
