The Master's program in Sustainable Mobility and Automotive Technology offers a comprehensive, interdisciplinary curriculum that blends advanced engineering, digital technologies, and sustainability-driven management. Beginning with foundational modules in electrical engineering, CAD design, data analysis, and programming, students build strong technical competencies. A major focus is placed on sustainable technology management, explored through five integrated modules covering innovation, technological foresight, product lifecycle, circular economy, and business models. Key future-oriented topics include artificial intelligence, battery electric vehicles, alternative power supplies, and future mobility concepts. The program also addresses critical areas like cyber security, digital signal processing, and cloud-based sensor technologies. Practical learning is embedded throughout, including project labs, risk management, and company projects or internships, which connect academic theory with industry application. A core feature is the Siemens Mechatronic Systems Certificate Program (SMSCP), completed over three levels, which enhances hands-on engineering expertise. The program culminates in a Master's thesis, supported by training in research and development methods and a colloquium.
